No. The AI Gazette never requests or uses your location.

The AI Gazette is built to be private. It collects no personal data of any kind.
No account, no tracking.
There is no sign in and no user account. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third party tracking of any kind.
Everything stays on your device.
All sentiment scoring and alert processing happens entirely on your iPhone. Your bookmarks, keyword watchlist, notification preferences, and reading activity are stored only on your device and never leave it.
What the app sends.
The app's only network activity is loading news headlines and, when you tap a story, opening that publisher's web page. These requests contain nothing that identifies you or your device.
Notifications.
If you enable alerts, they are scheduled and delivered locally by your device. No notification content is sent to or through any server operated by us.
Children's privacy.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
