Wildfire Watch Spain tracks active wildfires across Spain in real time, with live detections on a map, wind driven spread alerts, and a personal risk score for the places you care about.
How do I get alerts for a place I care about?
Save it from the map or Settings. The app tracks a distance and risk score for each saved place and can alert you when conditions change nearby.
Does this app require an internet connection?
Yes. Wildfire Watch Spain needs a connection to fetch current fire, weather, and air quality data for your area.
Does the Apple Watch app work on its own?
The Watch app mirrors your iPhone app's nearby fire and risk data, and your distance unit preference (miles or kilometers) syncs automatically between the two.

Wildfire Watch Spain does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no account system and no backend server of its own.
What data is stored: Places you save (such as home, family, or a cabin) and your app preferences are stored locally on your device and never leave it.
What data we collect: None. The app makes requests directly from your device to public fire, weather, and air quality data services to show current conditions for your location. These requests carry no personal information about you.
Location: The app uses your device's location, with your permission, to show nearby fires and compute a risk score for your area. Your location is processed on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Apple Watch: If you use the Apple Watch app, your distance unit preference syncs directly between your iPhone and Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This stays on your own devices and is never sent to us or to any third party.
Third parties: We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect any.
Children's privacy: Because no personal data is collected from any user, this app does not collect personal information from children.
